Insite - the Cambridge Assessment intranet

My primary role as a Web Developer at Cambridge Assessment was supporting the Internal Communications Manager with the redevelopment of the company intranet 'Insite'. We worked with an external agency to migrate from a bespoke system created using Python/Zope to Sharepoint 2010.

My responsibilities included:

• Gathering user requirements
• Detailing and agreeing the functional requirements
• Mapping out the navigation and information architecture
• Specifying user roles and permissions
• Creating and editing content
• Carrying out user acceptance testing
• Supporting staff training and assisting staff in migrating content onto the new system
